Limited Edition!

I'm absolutely in love with this special chamomile from South Africa. The aroma is just ecstatic. I'm not even bothering to stock Roman or German chamomile right now since this is the only one I want to use. I'm very biased. I feel that chamomile is a must in everyone's medicine cabinet and blending kit. It's one of mother nature's finest nervines - relaxing the nervous system. It also adds such a beautiful floral scent, like sunshine to every blend. The flowers are so bright and happy, like small daisies. I put this in the popular protection (Archangel Michael blend), Anisa, Stress Release and many custom perfumes that clients have ordered. It gives blends a fruity, floral, uplifting fragrance.

When I put limited edition, it means that we may never again get a batch quite the same and when it's out. We don't know when we'll get any more. I don't think people really know what this means sometimes. I laugh looking back when I first started, I would call to order more of something and a distiller would say, "Oh no, don't have any more. Try next year." I would just stutter, "what do you mean....?". I was in shock and then almost crying on the other end. Distillation of pure essential oils is not like getting the herbal tea or tincture, that is ready available for many plants. Distillation is an art and requires so much plant material. Some species and some areas just don't have a large production. One company tried to send me a synthetic adulterated cape chamomile, it was so obvious.

I recommend to really enjoy this precious oil while you can. I really believe chamomile should be used abundantly, but it is a bit pricey, compared to the other nervines such as lavender. I've prepared it diluted in jojoba to make it affordable but you can also order the concentrate. Enjoy and please let me know how you like it!

Uses:
Natural perfumery: blends well with lavender, rose, geranium, ylang ylang, rose, palmarosa, melissa, almost any other flower, clary sage and benzoin, sandalwood and vetiver are my favorite base note.
Skin applications: dilute in carrier oil for massage or aloe vera gel
Rooms spray or aura mist: dilute with distilled water and a solublizer
Diffusion: can be added to a diffuser mixed with lavender, geranium, frankincense, ylang ylang and rose.
Bath: mix a couple of drops with epsom salts and baking soda for a relaxing bath. I like to blend with lavender, geranium and rose in the bath.
Spiritual Practice: this oil is wonderful to use before meditation. It can be used in healing ceremonies, especially to heal and kind of trauma.

Safety Issues: none known. Not for internal use. Must be diluted before using on skin. It can oxidize faster than other oils, store away from light and heat (as most oils). For sensitive skin it's suggested to do a patch test. Apply a small amount in the dilution you intend to use and wait for 24 hours before using more liberally over the skin.

These oils are bottled in precious violet glass. Eleven years of research went into the creation of this glass. The intention was to find the best shade of glass that would protect medicines from sunlight. The glass actually has crushed amethyst in it. I find it enhances the smell and preserves the shelf life. It's a much higher quality of glass than brown or blue glass. Many people have tried to persuade me to use cheaper, less expensive glass but my commitment is to use on the highest quality ingredients and packaging material possible. I won't compromise. I highly suggest you recycle the bottle once it is empty. You can soak it in bowl of soap and water and wash it out, use it for making your own personal blends. We sincerely hope you enjoy this wonderful essential oil.
